Alcohol-Drinking-Women-_HEalthy

According to a recent study, women who take one glass of wine every evening and enjoy it remain healthy in old age (Source 1). Palos Journal of Medicine published a study which says that the drink may be a tin of beer, the glass of wine or the standard spirit drink.

In this research, we learned after the observation of 1400 women that those women who drink moderately remain healthier than those who don’t drink at all or those who drink abundantly (Source 2).

However, the researchers from America said that women who aged 50 or above years and take 15-30 gm of alcohol daily or up to two packs daily. They have 28% more chances of healthier after the age of seventy years as compared to those who don’t drink at all. The most common diseases from which they remain prevented are the Diabetes, Cancer and heart related diseases. Scientists said that during the experiment they also tried to control other factors such as smoking as it may affect the results (Source 3).

Women who take drink 5 to 7 times in a week are in good physical and mental shape in old age. Those who avoid drink become weaker in the last years of life. Some scientists have said that it is not confirmed, the alcohol is the main cause of their fitness or anything other. Because, most of the moderate drinkers are active members of the society. They meet with other peoples and they have to care a lot of about their personality. These things also contribute in their lifestyle as well.

A related study in Britain suggests that women should daily drink two to three glasses of wine/beer. It will help them to remain healthy and from others diseases. However the breast cancer in women is attributed to alcohol. In other words the breast cancer in women is because of drinking. Natasha Stewart, the official of British Heart Foundation cited that the limited and controlled drinking may save from heart diseases especially women for short time. Nevertheless, the excessive drinking may increase the probability of Hemiplegic, blood pressure and cardiac diseases. They also advised to the people, if you are not drinking than there is no need of it (Source 4).
